Edit: I hate having friends who all truly hate each other to some degree, I mean I know everyone does hate each other and we are all truly alone in the universe but shit make it a bit less obvious.

About your song: Write the feeling of the person. Everyone has their own distinct feeling, whether like silk or burlap, whether splendiferous or disheartening. It couldn't be so hard.
About your edit: My best friends absolutely loathe each other. I won't say I understand you, because you're not me, but I can say that you're not alone with the feeling. We're only as alone as our minds allow.
